Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for an individual with hands-on experience in refrigeration product development, end-to-end system level verification, and debugging issues. An individual who can understand the requirement specifications and implement the changes in an optimized form and who has experience in building products ground up.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Designing and developing DC appliances and solar products.
2. Refrigeration system balancing and result analysis, testing & validation as per IS and IEC standards
3. Heat load calculations
4. Troubleshooting and fault finding. Handling Fault Tree Analysis, WHY-WHY Analysis.
5. Component selection and sourcing for hardware design. Inward QA / QC testing
6. BIS, BEE, WHO PQS certification. Responsible for coordination with labs for testing & analyzing the reports.
7. Analysis of PCB layout and schematics.
8. Design, test and technical support for solar energy, OFF-Grid products, lighting & other products.
9. Documentation of BOM, component selection, Drawing, Other technical documentation like Product datasheet, Test procedure, Specification.
10. Developing inverter based refrigerator, new DC models, cold rooms.
11. Create project plans for Devidayal Solar energy product development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
12. Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to manufacturers/Suppliers to achieve solar design objectives.
13. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
14. Provide technical guidance for DC refrigerators & freezers.
15. Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards.
16. Suggest changes to optimize the design of the present products and suggest changes on effective cost reduction.

Qualifications:

Degree In Mechanical Engineering
ISHRAE course completion

Skills Required:

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of Design Principles. Knowledge on AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience in Power electronics mainly SMPS, Solar.
Understanding of Supply Chain. Good project management knowledge is added advantage.
