Job Opening: Radiotherapy Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiotherapy Technologist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments to patients while ensuring safety, accuracy, and high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Operate radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators and treatment planning systems.
Administer radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment protocols.
Verify patient positioning and treatment parameters before each session.
Monitor patients during treatment and address any concerns or complications.
Maintain accurate patient treatment records and documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and departmental policies.
Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist in routine equipment checks and quality control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology or Radiation Technology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration/licensure as required by local regulatory authorities.
Knowledge of modern radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, and SRS/SBRT is desirable.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
