Role & responsibilities

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Education: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience: Minimum 2 years in an Engineering / Manufacturing Workshop

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product compliance.
• Review inspection reports and approve final product release and Certificates of Conformance (COC).
• Coordinate NDE and third-party inspection activities and review inspection reports.
• Review engineering drawings, purchase orders, and quality documentation for compliance with API/ISO requirements.
• Manage calibration, maintenance, and records of Monitoring & Measuring Equipment (MME).
• Evaluate suppliers, verify material documentation, and monitor supplier quality performance.
• Initiate and track CAPA, NCRs, and customer complaints to ensure effective closure.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI), product qualification, and special process validation activities.
• Train and guide Quality Inspectors on inspection, calibration, and quality procedures.

• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and effective implementation of QMS requirements.
• Ensure quality activities are performed safely and effectively.
