Qualification: Diploma In Mechanical Engineering , B.E/ B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Experience: minimum 4 Years

Role & responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures for all mechanical MEP works in commercial building projects.

* Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project quality requirements before execution.

* Conduct inspections of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, gas systems, and other mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes and standards.

* Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project management teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented.

* Perform stage-wise inspections and witness testing activities, including pressure testing, flushing, duct leakage testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.

* Participate in consultant and client inspections and ensure timely resolution of inspection comments.

* Verify compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations applicable to mechanical MEP systems.

* Review and approve quality documentation submitted by subcontractors and vendors.

* Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits by clients, consultants, and certification bodies.

* Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and approved.

* Identify quality risks and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurring issues.

* Prepare periodic quality reports and present quality performance metrics to project management.

* Ensure lessons learned from quality issues are documented and implemented across ongoing and future projects.

* Verify as-built documentation reflects actual site installations and complies with project requirements.

* Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance, reduce rework, and improve project delivery efficiency.
