Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Quality Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in ensuring the quality and performance of electrical products and systems, specifically in electrical engineering and testing processes. This role will involve both hands-on and analytical work to ensure the highest standards of product quality, compliance, and reliability in the electrical domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control & Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures for electrical components and systems. Ensure products meet required specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Testing & Inspection: Conduct detailed electrical testing, including functionality, performance, safety, and reliability testing of electrical components and systems. Identify and document non-conformances.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for quality issues or product defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address problems.
• Process Optimization: Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical product quality and minimize failure rates. Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimize electrical testing and manufacturing processes.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO) and internal quality requirements. Maintain and update documentation related to compliance, testing protocols, and certification standards.
• Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Collaborate closely with electrical engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to identify quality issues early in the design and development phases.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including quality test plans, test reports, and compliance records. Communicate findings and improvements to both internal teams and customers.
• Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all electrical quality systems are in place and meeting certification standards.
• Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians on electrical quality assurance practices, test methods, and equipment
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical quality assurance, testing, or engineering, particularly in the electrical or electronics sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuits, and systems, and a thorough understanding of quality control and testing methods.
• Experience with electrical testing tools and equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex electrical systems and identify potential quality issues.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document findings and present solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
