Role Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Control Executive with 13 years of experience in the gold, jewellery, bullion, or precious metals industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, purity, specifications, weight, and physical condition of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, and other precious metal products.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Quality & Product Inspection: Inspect and verify the quality, purity, weight, specifications, and physical condition of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, and other precious metal products.

2.) Incoming & Outgoing Inspection: Conduct physical quality inspections of incoming and outgoing gold and precious metal products and ensure compliance with required specifications.

3.) Defect & Discrepancy Identification: Identify defects, discrepancies, damage, purity-related issues, and other quality concerns during product inspection.

4.) Specification & Documentation Verification: Verify product specifications against required quality standards, purchase details, and relevant documentation.

5.) Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and other relevant teams to identify, communicate, and resolve quality-related issues.

6.) Quality Records & Reporting: Maintain inspection records, quality reports, discrepancy reports, and other quality-related documentation accurately.

7.) Quality Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and applicable industry requirements related to gold, jewellery, bullion, and precious metals.

8.) Stock Audit & Reconciliation: Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation from a quality and specification verification perspective.

Required Skills:

1.) 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control within the gold, jewellery, bullion, or precious metals industry.

2.) Good knowledge of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, purity, karatage, and basic hallmarking concepts.

3.) Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality discrepancies, defects, and specification mismatches.

4.) Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

5.) Proficiency in MS Excel and basic inventory/ERP systems.

6.) Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

7.) Ability to work closely with Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and other cross-functional teams.

8.) Ability to maintain accurate quality records and follow established inspection procedures and standards.
