QC Research And Development Chemist - Badlapur

Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Testing & Analysis

Conduct RM and FG PM testing on receipt before approval for production use

Conduct in-process testing at defined production stages

Conduct finished goods testing prior to dispatch clearance

Perform AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy) analysis as required

Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions for testing

RMFG sample analysis and report generation

Test D.M. water, MIDC water & Distilled water daily

Maintain the stock for lab chemicals / reagents

Daily housekeeping of QC lab

Calibration & Records

Perform daily pH meter and weighing balance calibration

Maintain calibration records for testing instruments

Maintain cleaning records for lab equipment and glassware

Enter test results into batch sheets accurately and on time

Preparation of lot sublot and batch sheets

File analytical part in the GRN

Prepare and record ISO documents

Sample & Documentation Management

Preserve control samples as per retention protocol

Prepare Certificate of Analysis (COA) for finished goods

Maintain sample retention register

Data entry of tested samples in relevant registers

To prepare daily QC workplan

Environmental & Compliance Testing

Conduct COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) testing of ETP-treated water

Support R&D with batch testing for new product development and trials

Coordination

Coordinate with Production for in-process sample collection and clearance timing

Coordinate with Stores for raw material hold/release status

Escalate out-of-specification results to QC Manager promptly

Any other task assigned by management from time to time depending on business requirement Role & responsibilities
