Job Title: QA Analyst – Oracle FLEXCUBE (Retail Assets)

Location: Mumbai / Pune / Chennai / Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE and the Retail Assets (Retail Loans) domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing of core banking applications, with a thorough understanding of retail lending products and end-to-end loan lifecycle processes. The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality delivery of banking solutions. Oracle FLEXCUBE QA roles typically involve functional, integration, regression, UAT support, and validation of banking workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, and UAT Testing for Oracle FLEXCUBE Retail Assets modules.
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
• Design, review, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate end-to-end retail loan workflows including:
• Loan Origination
• Loan Booking
• Loan Disbursement
• EMI Schedule Validation
• Interest & Charges Calculation
• Repayment Processing
• Foreclosure / Part Prepayment
• NPA Classification
• Loan Closure
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Validate interfaces with surrounding banking systems and APIs.
• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira/ALM.
• Coordinate with Development, Business, and UAT teams for issue resolution.
• Support production validation and release activities.
• Prepare Test Summary Reports, Defect Reports, and QA documentation.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of Software Testing experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Assets / Retail Lending domain.
• Good understanding of Core Banking System (CBS) architecture.
• Experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• Regression Testing
• SIT & UAT
• Good understanding of:
• Retail Loans
• Personal Loans
• Home Loans
• Vehicle Loans
• Loan Against Property (LAP)
• Gold Loans (preferred)
• Experience in SQL for database validation.
• Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira or HP ALM.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in API Testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
• Exposure to Oracle FLEXCUBE version 12.x or above.
• Knowledge of banking interfaces, payment systems, and third-party integrations.
• Basic automation testing knowledge (Selenium/Java) is an added advantage.
• Experience in production support and release validation.
• Understanding of banking regulatory and compliance requirements.
