QA/QC Civil Engineers job profile:

A QA/QC Engineer plays a very important role at factory and Project site.

Qualification and Skills:

BE Civil with 5 to 7 years’ experience working in Quality Control Dept.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Problem solving skills.

• Sufficient experience with quality assurance methods and tools.

• Need strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to work effectively within a team environment.

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing and qualifying an organization's product to ensure it meets quality and manufacturing standards.

• Typically work with other engineering teams to identify potential errors in the process or standard and design improvements that could create a more efficient and effective production line.

• Responsible to prepare Inspection Test Plan for each activity like Earth work, Concrete Works etc. It shall include controlling Documents, Acceptance Criteria, Nature / Extent of Inspection, Responsible Personnel, Verification Document, and Inspection Stage.

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans, test the products and services to ensure they meet the required standards, and report their findings to management.

• Responsible for Site Inspection and Material Inspection As Per the requirements.

• Responsible to raise NCR and Site observation for his site, responsible to monitor and surveillance of the site without Request for Inspection (RFI).

• Non-conformity will be an issue in any major deviation to the specification and drawing to the sub-contractor and execution engineer.

• Responsible for providing Power Point Presentations, Training to Supervisors, Foremen, workers and other staffs.

• Responsible for laboratory tests at the Factory and Project site for raw material as well as fresh and hardened concrete tests at the pouring location.

• Shall ensure all the laboratory equipment calibrations are updated.

• Responsible for the documentation of the project.

Additional Requirements:

• Responsible to visit the concrete batching plant regularly for raw material inspection and

other activities at batching plant.

• Responsible to visit raw material resource plants to avoid any deviated material at the

site. Raw material like Backfilling material, aggregate, and others.

• Shall visit the third-party laboratory to witness the test.

• Shall review the test reports and other documents.

• Shall arrange for the mock-up works for a new activity or for new materials.

• Maintaining documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site.

• Instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction (SI).
