QA Engineer - Test Automation - Playwright

Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python (Playwright experience is
mandatory
).
Develop and execute UI , API , and end-to-end automated test cases.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and ensure full test coverage.
Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects with clear documentation.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks, processes, and tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to product quality discussions and release readiness.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of professional experience in test automation , with at least 1+ year of hands-on Playwright experience (mandatory).
Strong programming skills in Python .
Worked with Javascript/Typescript
Experience with Pytest or similar testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of UI automation , selectors , and test data management .
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies , tools , and processes .
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and tools like Postman or Requests library.
Knowledge of Docker , containerized testing , or cloud-based test execution .
Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, pytest-html, etc.).
Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
