QA Analyst - ROR

Job Description

Responsible for Quality Assurance cum testing of all software.
Core member of core development team with involvement in full development lifecycle, from concept and design
to testing.

Other responsibilities:

Comprehensive testing support for all software developments including user testing
Identify and resolve any technical issues arising out of any situation
Support and adhering to detailed design documentation
To ensure well designed, testable code meeting SOW requirements
Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
Develop documentation to help users
Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review

Key skills requirement - Must to have:

Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns
Expertise in ROR (Ruby on Rails) with a good understanding of its ecosystems
Experience with API frameworks and API integration
Knowledge of Agile methodology and related tools like JIRA
Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholder
Good communication skills

Key skills requirement - Good to have:

Experience with UI technologies such as HTML, CSS and JQuery, Java script
Experience with RDBMS - MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
Experience with Unit Integration testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Serenity, Jbehave
Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins and configuration management system like GitHub
Exposure of having worked in Fintech domain
