Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Sourcing

Core Materials: Procure primary construction materials including Cement, Steel, Sand, Aggregates, and Ready Mix Concrete (RMC).
Finishing Materials: Source fixtures such as sanitaryware, tiles, electrical wiring, and plumbing supplies.
Tendering: Draft and manage tender documents, requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for quotations (RFQs).

2. Vendor Management & Negotiation

Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors.
Contract Negotiations: Negotiate rates, delivery terms, and payment cycles to maximize cost savings.

3. Site Coordination & Inventory

Site Alignment: Work closely with project managers and civil engineers to forecast material requirements and avoid project delays.
Inventory Control: Monitor site-level inventory to minimize wastage and prevent stock-outs.

4. Financial & Compliance

Budgeting: Track purchasing against budgets and prepare cost-benefit analyses.
Compliance: Ensure all purchases comply with regional taxation norms (e.g., GST), corporate policies, and industry standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Typically 4 - 12 years in real estate or construction procurement.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Diploma in Material Management.
Skills Required: Strong commercial acumen, vendor management, analytical thinking, and proficiency in ERP software
