Job Description

Role & responsibilities Monitor daily/weekly/monthly progress of ongoing projects and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets. Track milestones and prepare regular progress reports for internal teams and management. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants for updates, delays, and issue resolution. Ensure quality and safety standards are being met on-site as per organizational or client expectations. Assist in identifying risks, bottlenecks, and deviations from the plan and provide actionable solutions. Conduct site inspections and audits periodically and escalate concerns to the management. Maintain documentation including project schedules, reports, status logs, and change orders. Work closely with the planning, procurement, execution, and finance teams for smooth coordination. Monitor material usage, labor deployment, and contractor performance. Assist in project handover, closure documentation, and feedback analysis. Check and verify contractor/vendor bills based on actual site work, measurements, and terms of contract. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Primavera/MS Project/ERP etc.) Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting dashboards, and progress tracking software Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of statutory norms and regulatory compliances (specific to industry) Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving
