Job Profile

Guiding & directing a team of Project Engineers for concept study, basic engineering & detailed engineering of pharmaceutical / Chemical projects

Responsibilities to handle:

1. Engineering coordination. To maintain high level of multi-disciplinary technical competence. Conduct structured meetings & perform co-ordination reviews between different disciplines.

2. Quality control of engineering deliverables. To address quality issues identified. Provide independent quality review on project deliverables. To conduct technical design reviews.

3. Schedule and plan development. To develop engineering scope into logical design packages. Present engineering design sequence of work. To work with project team to develop integrated schedule.

4. Resource Management. To build a project team, align, set and prioritize goals for the team members. To resolve conflicts between team members, Understand the required manpower for design requirements.

5. Risk identification. To provide risk mitigation strategies around the identified risk. Identify the key risks to the design scope of work. To participate in risk management meeting with project team.

6. Schedule and progress reporting. To provide forecast for the completion of design work. Provide updates on design deliverables development and completions.

7. Engineering budget management. To provide budget revision when required. Review progress versus the hours spent to gauge performance.

8. Deliverables development. To maintain execution strategy and deliverable development through the lifecycle of project. Understand different discipline deliverable requirements for projects scope of work and strategy.

9. To conduct Knowledge Sharing Sessions. Sharing info on new product launch / technology / project case study. Sharing data / details of attended training / workshops. Technical knowledge sessions for Engineers / CAD.
