Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionaryProgram Head to lead our IBV of CDOT. The Program Head will be responsible foroverseeing the integration of more than 40 existing portals of the Departmentof Telecom into a unified platform. The Program Head will play a pivotal rolein enabling the new Telecom Act 2023 to be Digital by Design through thedevelopment of new software modules, unification efforts of existing portals,and implementation of innovative technologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic planning andimplementation of technology initiatives to support the objectives of the IBVof CDOT. To strategize, plan and execute theprime objective of enabling Digital by Design requirement of newTelecommunication Act 2023. Oversee the integration of more than 40existing portals of the Department of Telecom into a unified platform, ensuringseamless data exchange and improved user experience. Help to establish IBV of CDOT ITinfrastructure & technical teams by proper planning of resources, talentneeds, sourcing methodologies etc. Work closely with CEO & COO of CDoTto execute and implement organizational goals. Collaborate with senior consultants anddomain experts in Telecom, IT, Regulation, Finance, and other relevant fieldsto develop comprehensive strategies and solutions. Guide the software development team,comprising Operations head, Senior Solution Architects, Business Analysts,Front/Back end developers, Mobile app developers, RPA experts, etc., to deliverhigh-quality software solutions. Establish and maintain robust QA/testingand security protocols to ensure the integrity and reliability of softwaresystems. Oversee the training, media, and helpdesk teams to provide effective support and assistance to end-users. Driveinnovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operationalefficiency and drive digital transformation. Partnerwith stakeholders across DoT & CDOT organizations to identify opportunitiesfor process optimization and automation. Stayabreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategicdecision-making and maintain a competitive edge. Demonstratedexperience in handling large-scale IT/Telecom projects of nationalsignificance. Requirements Qualifications & Experience : Bachelors degree in Engineering from areputed Institute Experience of more than 25+ years ofworking in Telecom and IT Sector. Proven track record of leadership in ITmanagement, with a minimum of 20+ years of experience in a senior leadershiprole. Extensive experience in softwaredevelopment, systems integration, and project management. Strong understanding oftelecommunications industry, regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal,and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinker with the ability totranslate business objectives into actionable technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspiremultidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven track record of driving digitaltransformation initiatives and delivering measurable business results. Experience in handling large-scale IT/Telecom projectsof national significance.
