Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Production Operator (Control System/Panel Operator) with hands-on experience in upstream onshore oil & gas operations. The candidate will be responsible for remote well monitoring, artificial lift optimization, and control room operations using DCS/SCADA systems. The role requires strong operational awareness, alarm management expertise, and understanding of cause-and-effect logic to ensure safe and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control onshore well production through DCS/SCADA systems.
  
• Perform real-time well surveillance and optimize artificial lift systems (ESP, SRP, Gas Lift, etc.).
  
• Analyze production trends, pressure, temperature, and flow data to ensure stable operations.
  
• Manage alarm notifications and respond promptly based on cause-and-effect matrices.
  
• Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
  
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain operational logs.
  
• Identify potential operational issues and recommend performance improvement measures.
  

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Operator or Process Engineer in upstream oil & gas (onshore).
  
• Experience working with leading oil & gas companies such as ONGC, OIL, Cairn, GAIL, Essar, RIL, or similar organizations.
  
• Strong knowledge of well pad monitoring and artificial lift optimization.
  
• Proficiency in DCS/SCADA systems for production monitoring and control.
  
• Sound understanding of alarm management systems and cause-and-effect matrices.
  
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  
• Ability to work in US night shifts and handle high-pressure operational environments.
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in centralized remote operation centers.
  
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
  
• Knowledge of upstream production KPIs and reporting standards.
