Job Description

Job Title: Production Officer (API / Pharma)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform batch charging of raw materials, solvents, and reagents into reactors as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
Execute and monitor batch processes within defined parameters to meet production specifications.
Ensure strict adherenthe ce to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate production equipment and carry out cleaning activities as per approved procedures and Batch Cleaning Records (BCR).
Verify raw materials (weight, label, name, AR number) before use and maintain proper traceability.
Ensure safety compliance by monitoring PPE usage and taking immediate action in case of unsafe conditions.
Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure cleanliness of production areas along with proper documentation.
Record in-process observations in BMR and report any deviations or incidents to the Department Head.
Ensure smooth shift handover by updating the incoming officer on batch status and ongoing activities.
