Procurement Assistant – Supply Chain Management

Role Summary

We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to support sourcing, supplier management, procurement analytics, contract administration, ESG compliance and procurement digitalization activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement/sourcing operations, supplier coordination, sourcing events, procurement MIS, spend analysis and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement MIS, KPI dashboards, spend analysis and management reports.

- Support and execute sourcing events, including RFQ/RFP activities, quotation analysis and auction-related activities.

- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, commercial documentation, evaluations and follow-ups.

- Support supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding and performance management.

- Handle supplier delivery escalations and coordinate with suppliers, buyers and Commodity Managers for timely resolution.

- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, amendments, renewals and repository records.

- Support ESG, supplier audit and compliance activities, including corrective-action tracking.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to remove procurement bottlenecks and ensure timely purchase-order/payment-related activities.

- Prepare procurement analytics, spend reports, KPI reports and management presentations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and productivity enhancement.

- Use digital/automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot or equivalent platforms wherever applicable.

Mandatory Skills

- 4–7 years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing / Purchasing / Supply Chain Procurement.

- Hands-on experience in sourcing events / RFQ / RFP / quotation evaluation.

- Strong supplier management and supplier coordination experience.

- Good knowledge of procurement processes and commercial documentation.

- Advanced MS Excel skills.

- Experience in procurement MIS, spend analysis and KPI reporting.

- Working knowledge of ERP / e-sourcing platforms.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management and follow-up skills.

- SAP / Ariba / Coupa / other e-procurement platforms

- Power BI

- Power Automate / Power Apps

- Contract administration

- Supplier performance management

- ESG / sustainability / supplier compliance

- Procurement process automation

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing or Supply Chain Procurement backgrounds with strong operational sourcing and supplier-management experience are preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently manage multiple procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, prepare accurate procurement analytics and maintain audit-ready documentation.
