Role & responsibilities

Import & International Procurement

• Handling import documentation including PI, BL, invoice, packing list, BOE, etc.
• Coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, suppliers, and banks
• Managing import payments and documentation compliance
• Tracking shipment timelines and ensuring smooth clearance process

Domestic Procurement

• Vendor coordination and procurement of materials/services
• Comparing quotations and negotiating with vendors
• Maintaining procurement records and payment schedules
• Coordinating with warehouse and accounts teams for material planning

Payments & Expense Management

• Managing day-to-day business payments including:
• Vendor payments
• Labour payments
• Utility bills and recurring expenses
• Freight and logistics payments
• Ensuring timely payments while maintaining proper documentation and approvals

Compliance & Controls

• Understanding and ensuring compliance with:
• MSME payment provisions
• TDS applicability and deductions
• Basic GST understanding
• Maintaining proper payment records and supporting documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, payments, or accounts operations
• Good understanding of import processes and documentation
• Knowledge of TDS provisions and MSME regulations
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
• Good command over Excel and accounting systems (Tally knowledge preferred)
• Organized and detail-oriented approach
• Understanding of ZOHO CRM and Books would be added advantage

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good communication and vendor management skills
• Prior experience in trading, construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
