Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to handle end-to-end procurement activities for MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor development, rate negotiations, purchase planning, and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects
Source and procure MEP materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
Conduct price negotiations and finalize purchase orders within approved budgets
Compare quotations and prepare techno-commercial evaluations
Coordinate with project, planning, and site teams for material requirements and delivery schedules
Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/site teams
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of MEP materials and procurement processes
Vendor management and negotiation skills
Knowledge of ERP/software for procurement management
Good communication and coordination abilities
Strong analytical and commercial understanding
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple vendors/projects

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in construction, infrastructure, or MEP contracting companies
Familiarity with local and national vendor networks
Strong understanding of supply chain and project procurement planning
