Procurement Executive

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Monitor and expedite vendor activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services as per project schedules.
Coordinate expediting activities with Project Managers and the Procurement Manager to meet project milestones.
Track vendor progress and ensure compliance with committed delivery timelines.
Maintain and regularly update project expediting reports with accurate status information.
Prepare and circulate weekly expediting reports to internal stakeholders.
Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to resolve day-to-day procurement and delivery issues.
Coordinate with vendors to address urgent or emergency procurement requirements.
Ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Follow up with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payment processing.
Resolve invoice discrepancies, including blocked invoice issues, in coordination with the finance team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Support procurement operations by ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, project teams, and internal departments.
Work collaboratively within a team to achieve procurement and project objectives.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in any specialisation from a recognised university.
3-7 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchase, Expediting, or Supply Chain functions.
