Job Description

Typeset text and graphics within InDesign layouts according to provided design specifications and style guidelines. Ensure accurate and consistent formatting, spacing, and alignment of text and graphics. Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments to layouts. Prepare files for print production, including creating print-ready PDFs and managing color profiles. Maintain organized file structures and version control to facilitate efficient workflow and revisions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in typography, layout design, and print production technologies. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to InDesign files and print production processes. Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including a strong understanding of typographic principles and layout design techniques. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under tight deadlines. Responsible for accurately typesetting text and graphics within InDesign layouts for various print materials, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to design specifications Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients. Solid understanding of print production processes, including color management and prepress requirements. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, is a plus. Previous experience in typesetting for print publications, or similar projects is preferred.
