Candidate Profile

Aranca is seeking candidates with 15 years of experience in technology research and consulting field. The role involves working in close coordination with the R&D teams of leading technology companies and supporting them with identifying emerging technologies, preparing technology or product roadmaps, conducting technology landscapes, assessing & valuing IP, building innovation strategy and determining market potential for the technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Clients in building and managing IP: Perform Technology scouting, Opportunity assessment, partner scouting, technology roadmaps, Technology Landscape analysis, FTO search, Clearance Search, State of the art search, Patentability search, Novelty search, Invalidity search, Infringement analysis
• Research on emerging technologies using varied sources such as patents, scientific documents, journals, articles and by speaking with experts
• Continuously track research performed in high-growth technology sectors mainly by research labs and universities
• Derive logical inferences based on the research and thereby assist the Clients in making informed decisions
• Interact with Clients to understand their research requirements on a regular basis and suggests ideas for streamlining the research activity
• Work in close co-ordination with the team and/or AMs / Managers to prepare proposals and deliver projects on timely basis
• Contribute towards marketing of Aranca brand and services by proactively writing technology centric articles

Requirements

• BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from good institutes
• Ability to comprehend technologies discussed in patents, journals, articles and related literature
• Effectively write technology and business related reports.
• Knowledge of patents would be an add-on (though not mandatory requirement)
