Packaging Lab Analyst Executive - LIMS

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To execute packaging testing activities in line with internal and external testing requirements, ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely generation of test results for packaging development, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting projects. The role will support testing across rigid, flexible, dispensing, and paper-based packaging formats while maintaining compliance with ASTM, ISO, BIS/IS, and relevant internal standards. The individual will be responsible for sample management, test execution, equipment operation, data recording, report generation (manual and LIMS-based), and laboratory housekeeping to support efficient lab operations.

Testing & Analysis • Conduct packaging performance testing as per approved test methods, protocols, and project requests.

ASTM standards,ISO standards, BIS/IS standards ,ISTA transport testing protocols .

Equipment Operation • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including.

Data Management & Reporting • Accurately record test observations and results. • Generate test reports through: o Manual reporting systems o Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) .

Laboratory Operations • Receive, log, track, and manage incoming samples. • Maintain testing schedules and prioritize workload based on business requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Education • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in: Packaging Technology/ Polymer Engineering /Mechanical Engineering /Industrial Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/Related Technical Discipline

Experience :3-5 years of hands-on experience in packaging laboratory testing.

Experience in FMCG, packaging converters, testing laboratories, packaging institutes, or material suppliers preferred.

Exposure to testing of both rigid and flexible packaging formats.
