Position: Packaging Executive

Location: Vile Parle (East), Mumbai

Experience: 2 3 Years

Compensation: 8.00 LPA

Education : Engineering/Diploma in Packaging is a must

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve packaging materials including paper cartons, labels, corrugated shippers, inserts, sleeves, mono cartons, and other primary and secondary packaging components.

• Inspect and verify packaging samples and incoming materials against approved specifications, quality standards, artwork, and technical requirements.

• Possess a sound understanding of printing technologies, colour reproduction, printing processes, finishing techniques, and packaging conversions.

• Coordinate with suppliers for sample development, approvals, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvements.

• Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, sample evaluation reports, and maintain packaging-related records.

• Work closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance, Production, and Product Development teams to ensure timely availability of approved packaging materials.

• Ensure packaging materials comply with product specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

• Monitor packaging quality during production and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.

• Understand international FMCG packaging standards and ensure packaging materials meet export market requirements.

• Support packaging development initiatives and evaluate new materials, printing techniques, and innovative packaging solutions.

• Mature, dynamic, and detail-oriented professional.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Minimum 2 3 years of relevant experience in packaging within the FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing industry.

• Hands-on experience in packaging material inspection, printing technologies, and quality evaluation.

• Exposure to international FMCG markets and export packaging requirements will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. or Diploma in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or a related discipline.
