Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Design & Development
- Design and develop innovative packaging products from concept to commercialization.
- Develop sustainable packaging solutions focused on functionality, cost optimization, and manufacturability.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar.
2. Engineering & Manufacturing
- Work closely with tooling, manufacturing, quality, and business teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize product performance and production efficiency.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvements.
3. Packaging Innovation
- Develop new packaging concepts using molded fiber, paper-based, plastic, or hybrid packaging materials.
- Optimize material selection, product performance, tolerance analysis, and structural integrity.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering, cost reduction, and sustainable packaging innovations.
4. Cross Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, tooling, and commercial teams.
- Support supplier development, product validation, and commercialization activities.
Ensure timely execution of development projects from concept to production
