Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in handling bulk commodities such as coal, iron ore, and other mining metals. The ideal candidate should have prior experience managing operations and driving business either on the East or West Coast or at mining locations. This role will be part of the central operations team and will carry responsibility for operations and business development across India. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and monitor ongoing operations , ensuring efficiency and adherence to SLA standards. • Interact with existing customers regularly to ensure high service levels and address operational challenges. • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the bulk commodities segment across India. • Lead customer onboarding processes and ensure seamless integration into operations. • Coordinate with regional and on-ground teams for smooth execution of supply chain activities. • Track market trends and competitor activity to support business strategy. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including vendors, customers, and internal teams. Qualifications & Skills: • 68 years of relevant experience in operations and/or business development of bulk commodities (coal, iron ore, mining metals). • Exposure to handling logistics and supply chain activities at coastal or mining locations. • Proven track record in customer management and business growth. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional coordination.
