Job Description
- Set the standard of care for oncology occupation therapy rehabilitation.
- Create an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive evaluation of their current abilities and needs, as well as lifestyle and personal goals.
- Interact with family members and provide workable home solutions.
- Conduct patient evaluations and treatments for a variety of lymphedema diagnoses and referrals.
- Identify the best Occupational therapy units and help building suitable educational materials.
- Perform daily documentation of patient records.
- Over a period of time, direct and supervises occupational therapy assistants and as needed.
- Coordinate with the prosthetic needs of patients with the respective prosthetic production unit at ICS and also with the.
- Evaluate, plan and provide guidance to choose appropriate vocational skills program/employment.
- Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly (Maintaining cleanliness and safety).
- Support in preparing therapy related research proposals, conduct and manage research for strengthening the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall implementation of the project in their designated districts.
- Identification of local partners (NGO/CBO/school/college/ industry unit/ community/ institutes/hospitals) and partnership with them.
- Identification of local cancer screening centers and creating referral linkages.
- Approach and Coordinate with district and block health officials to promote implementation of OCPP & CCPP in the field.
- Coordinating and conducting on ground events (Master training / ToT / awareness sessions / meetings / demand generation / training / CMEs / communication etc)
- Preparing budgets / reports on the progress of the project; develop & implement Work Plans, quarterly and annual reports and M&E reports.
- Collect monthly data from various partners in the specified formats, compile it and share with ICS, NHQ on monthly basis.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting is mandatory.
- Conduct visits and review intervention districts as per need and ensure implementation of the program activities and timely and complete monthly data reporting.
- Support for regional language (Telugu) translation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve program goal.
- Extensive and frequent travelling required.
