Assistant Manager / Manager - Nursing (Cathlab) Seven Hills Hospital (Managed by Reliance foundation hospital)

Reporting To: Head Nursing / Deputy Head Nursing

Educational Qualification

Mandatory: B.Sc. Nursing; Valid State Nursing Council Registration

Preferred: M.Sc. Nursing; ACLS/BLS Certification; Certification in Cathlab/Cardiac Nursing

Experience

Assistant Manager

• 8-12 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in Cathlab/Cardiac Sciences.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Manager

• 12-15 years of nursing experience with minimum 2-3 years in a Cathlab leadership/managerial role.

Experience in NABH/JCI accredited hospitals preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager - Nursing (Cathlab) to oversee clinical and operational management of Cathlab nursing services. The role is responsible for ensuring excellence in interventional cardiology procedures, patient safety, quality outcomes, infection control, manpower management, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with NABH/JCI standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Excellence

• Lead and supervise Cathlab nursing operations and patient care services.
• Ensure seamless coordination for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty, Electrophysiology procedures, Device Implantations, Structural Heart procedures, and emergency cardiac interventions.
• Coordinate with Cardiologists, Anaesthetists, Technicians, and support services for efficient patient flow.
• Ensure procedural readiness, staffing availability, equipment preparedness, and emergency response readiness.
• Monitor procedural documentation, patient consent processes, recovery monitoring, and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with procedural safety checklists and clinical protocols.

Team Management

• Manage Cathlab nursing manpower, staffing rosters, and competency frameworks.
• Conduct regular training, certifications, and emergency response drills.
• Mentor nursing staff and facilitate professional development.
• Monitor performance and ensure appropriate deployment based on procedural complexity.

Quality & Patient Safety

• Drive adherence to NABH/JCI standards and IPSG requirements.
• Monitor Cathlab quality indicators, adverse events, and incident reporting.
• Ensure radiation safety practices and infection prevention measures.
• Lead quality audits, CAPA implementation, and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure complete procedural documentation and clinical record compliance.
