Job Description

We are looking for a highly technical and execution-driven Mobile Technical Lead to lead engineering delivery across our iOS and Android platforms for large-scale consumer applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in mobile architecture, scalable application development, and end-to-end delivery ownership.

The ideal candidate will drive engineering excellence, mentor development teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, performant, and secure mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development and delivery of iOS and Android mobile applications.
Define and implement scalable mobile architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
Drive sprint planning, technical estimations, release planning, and execution.
Review code to ensure quality, scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively drive resolutions.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance optimizations.
Mentor and guide a team of mobile engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, development practices, and delivery excellence.
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

79 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
Strong expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine/Async-Await) and/or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK).
Experience designing scalable mobile architectures using MVVM/Clean Architecture principles.
Strong understanding of app lifecycle, multithreading, memory management, networking, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and driving engineering decisions.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience handling production-critical issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
