Job Description :

The Merchandiser - We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage and coordinate all aspects of order processing, sampling, and customer interactions. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling customer queries, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring seamless operations in merchandising.

Responsibilities :

Order Sampling Management:

Ensure smooth processing of all orders and sampling queries.

Develop samples based on new inquiries and coordinate with the sampling team for shade matching, price quoting, artwork development, and test reports.

Check sample quality before sending them to sales executives/customers.

Record and maintain approved samples, and pre-production samples, and submit copies to customers for acknowledgment.

Customer Coordination Order Processing:

Inform customers about shipment details along with necessary documentation on a daily basis.

Handle customer orders, place them accurately, and ensure all necessary documentation is sent for processing.

Address and fulfill customer business needs efficiently.

Provide backup support for field sales personnel regarding production and sample-related requirements.

Factory Purchase Coordination:

Work closely with the purchase team for yarn follow-ups and shade matching.

Coordinate with the factory to track order status, dispatches, stock availability, quality control, invoices, delivery schedules, and complaint resolution.

Accounts Documentation Support:

Coordinate with the accounts team for outstanding payments, credit/debit notes, invoices, and customer financial data.

Arrange and maintain documentation for Sample Requisitions (SRs), complaint reports, order bookings, sales reports, invoices, customer data, and visit reports.

Reporting Compliance:

Maintain detailed records of customers and regions as per company processes.

Ensure timely preparation of required reports for senior management.

Track sample submission and order conversion ratios for sales personnel.

Uphold the 5S workplace organization system daily.

Logistics Support:

Provide logistics support in urgent situations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ensure timely follow-ups with internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely deliveries.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum 1 year of experience in merchandising, order processing, or a related role.

Education: Any Bachelors degree ( Preferred: Degree/Diploma in Textile or related field).

Strong coordination and communication skills.
