Job Description
Range Selection & Buying
- Identification & Selection of seasonal collections across home categories (bedding-Bath, cushions, curtains, dcor, etc.)
- Translate fashion and design trends into assortments
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting
- Collaborate with brand teams for product gaps identification & selection
2. Merchandising & Planning
- Build range plans aligned with sales and margin targets
- Manage OTB, inventory, product lifecycle, and offering strategy
- Track sales performance, margins, sell-through, and stock movement
- Optimize assortment, replenishment, and markdowns, RTV
3. Vendor & Sourcing Management
- Identify gaps, onboard, and manage suppliers/brands
- Manage offering, MDQs, fill
- Ensure product/Stock availability, coordination with brands on timely basis
- Lead vendor reviews and sourcing strategy
4. Inventory & Supply Chain
- Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stock-outs/overstock
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams
- Drive replenishment, stock cover, and inventory productivity
5. Business Analytics & Performance
- Analyze data to drive decisions on assortment and category growth
- Manage KPIs like sales growth, margin %, inventory turns, SPSF, sell-through
- Conduct periodic business reviews with brand and recommend corrective actions
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with store retail operation, marketing, VM, e-commerce teams
- Support launches, campaigns, and merchandising execution
- Contribute to product storytelling and visual presentation
