Job Description

Faaya Gifting is looking for Merchandiser to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

A merchandiser is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the display and sales of products in retail stores or other retail spaces
They work closely with buyers and product managers to select the right merchandise, analyze consumer behavior and market trends, and arrange products in a visually appealing manner to attract customers and drive sales

Key responsibilities include:

Assessing consumer demand and market trends to determine which products to stock and display
Collaborating with buyers and product managers to select and purchase products for the store
Developing and implementing visually appealing and effective in-store displays and product presentations
Monitoring sales and adjusting product placement, pricing, and display strategies as needed
Communicating with store managers and other staff members to ensure merchandise is well-stocked and displayed properly6
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and innovations, and suggesting new merchandise and display ideas to management
Negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, such as discounts and extended payment terms
The ideal candidate for a merchandiser role should have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends
