Roles and Responsibilities

• Study Customer Websites and Design Offerings: Research customer websites to understand their design preferences, aesthetics, and current trends. Create downloadable design offerings inspired by identified ideas and themes from customer research.
• Prepare Thematic PowerPoint Presentations: Develop creative and high-quality PowerPoint presentations based on themes provided by customers for both current and pipeline projects. Showcase design concepts that are aligned with customer expectations and brand standards.
• Aesthetic Checking of Sample Pieces: Conduct aesthetic reviews of sample pieces received from production. Identify and document any flaws, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement to maintain high aesthetic standards.
• Improve the Conversion Rate of Produced Designs: Analyze existing designs to identify opportunities for increasing the conversion rate from design to final production. Develop strategies and insights to enhance design appeal and overall production success rates.
• Market Trend Research: Perform in-depth research on the latest market trends and industry developments. Generate new ideas, prepare trend reports, and lead ideation sessions to inspire innovative designs and maintain the companys competitive edge.
• Supervise Manual and EDP Teams: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Manual and Electronic Data Processing (EDP) teams. Ensure all work aligns with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Provide regular progress reports and performance evaluations.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of diamond jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of diamond grading, gold purity, and jewellery finishing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
