Skills Required:
- Proficiency with personal computers and word processing software.
- Normal hearing acuity .
- Excellent listening skills .
- Good with English grammar
Roles Responsibilities:
- Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology.
- Transcribe dictation for a variety of medical reports.
- Translate medical jargon and abbreviations into their expanded forms to ensure the accuracy of patient and health care facility records.
- Ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment, other equipment as specified to troubleshoot as necessary
