Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

The candidate should be Mechanical or Production Engineer with 1-5 years experience in 3D Design with SolidWorks.
Experience with Medical Device design will be given preference
Excellent knowledge in limit, fits, tolerances, and welding symbols.
Proven hands-on experience using Solidworks
Knowledge of Autocad and 2D Drawing
Experience in operation of Fibre Laser Cutting, CNC Metal Bending and CNC Lathe machinery preferred.
Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem solving

Education

Role and Responsibility:

Developing 3D model and preparing detailed assembly and part drawings, Technical and Production Drawing in Solidworks.
Coordinate with production, Research and Development team, Customer Service and marketing team for any changes in drawing.
Preparing Bill of Material (BOM) as per production purpose
Execute prototype after design
Investigate how to improvisation can be done existing project or products
Work with Production team to execute designs for Metal Fabrication Laser Cutting Machine, CNC Bending Machine and CNC Lathe machine
Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required
