- Process markups from engineers and incorporate design changes throughout concept, design development, and construction phases.
- Participate in model review sessions and design coordination meetings, assisting with as-built documentation and updates based on construction feedback.
- Maintain organized file structures, version control, and consistent documentation practices.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, drafting, mechanical design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks or similar coordination tools is preferred.
- Understanding of mechanical building systems such as HVAC, hydronic systems, piping, and mechanical utilities.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, P&IDs, and mechanical specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate drawings.
- Good communication skills and comfort working with engineers and cross-discipline teams.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deliverables with quick turnaround times.
- Comfortable working in a highly coordinated 3D workflow with multiple trades.
- A process-driven mindset with a focus on consistent documentation and quality.
- Willingness to learn new tools, standards, and workflows as the design program evolves.
- Interest in modular design, prefabrication, and emerging mechanical design technologies.
