Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Math Tutor with 2 to 7 years of experience to teach US-based middle and high school students in 1:1 online classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject mastery in Grade 9-10 math and excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Deliver clarity, structure, and exam-aligned thinking in 1:1 online classes.
Teach Algebra, Geometry, and early high-school math to students in Grades 9-10.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans to improve student understanding and performance.
Provide individualized attention and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and students.
Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum enhancements.

Job Requirements

Strong subject mastery in Grade 9-10 math.
Clear spoken English and excellent communication skills.
Experience teaching middle/high school students is preferred.
Comfort with the US syllabus and time zones.
Professional, reliable work ethic and ability to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and efficiently, showing logical steps and reasoning.
Adaptability based on student understanding and ability to verify learning through independent problem-solving.
Alignment with school curriculum and assessments.
Teaching should be about clarity and precision, not speed.
