Role Overview

We are looking for a Marine Instrumentation Technician / Service Engineer who can travel onboard ships and offshore installations to carry out servicing, troubleshooting, calibration, and installation of marine instrumentation and automation systems.

The role involves field work, vessel attendance, and working in technical environments such as engine rooms, pump rooms, and deck equipment areas.

Candidates should be physically fit, technically capable, and comfortable working onboard vessels and offshore installations.

Key Responsibilities

Marine Instrumentation & Service Work
• Installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of pressure gauges, transmitters, and temperature sensors
• Calibration and servicing of electrical meters and instrumentation systems
• Servicing and inspection of PRVs and pressure instrumentation
• Work on UTI tapes and tank measurement systems
• Servicing and troubleshooting of fire and gas detection systems
• Working with multimeters and instrumentation testing tools

Automation & Marine Systems (Preferred Experience)
• Servicing and troubleshooting of 15ppm bilge alarm monitors
• Work on ODME systems and related automation equipment
• Familiarity with marine automation and control systems

Field Work
• Attend vessels in ports and shipyards
• Travel to offshore vessels or oil rigs when required
• Work safely in engine room and deck environments

Candidate Profile

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation
• 15 years experience in marine instrumentation, electrical service, or industrial instrumentation
• Experience with calibration and testing of field instruments
• Basic troubleshooting skills using multimeters and test equipment
• Physically fit and comfortable working onboard ships

Preferred Experience

Marine instrumentation or ship service experience
• Experience with bilge alarms, ODME systems, or tank measurement systems
• Knowledge of fire and gas detection systems
• Offshore or vessel service experience
