! We are hiring ! Manager - Packaging Development ! Ambernath Plant !

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end packaging development for commercial pharmaceutical products.
Manage packaging activities for new product launches in regulated markets (US, EU & Emerging Markets).
Develop and review primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging specifications.
Coordinate artwork changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Drive packaging cost optimization, alternate vendor development (AVD), and operational efficiency initiatives.
Support technology transfer, packaging validation, and commercial scale-up activities.
Prepare and review packaging documentation, specifications, BOM, BPR, and regulatory dossiers.
Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
Resolve packaging-related technical issues while ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance.
Lead and mentor a small packaging development team.

Required Skills

710 years of pharmaceutical packaging development experience.
Hands-on experience with OSD, Liquids, Nasal Sprays, or Combination Products.
Strong knowledge of US FDA, EU, ICH guidelines, packaging regulations, and artwork management.
Experience in technology transfer, packaging validation, supplier development, and cost-saving projects.
Excellent project management, cross-functional coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Exposure: USFDA, EU-regulated markets, ANDA/NDA packaging documentation, and commercial product launches.

Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Tech / Diploma in Packaging Technology or related field
