Job Description

We are looking for experienced Mainframe Developers with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM to join our team.

Location: Mumbai, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

Developed, maintained, and supported Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, IBM Db2, CICS, and VSAM.
Analyzed business requirements and delivered technical solutions for enterprise-level applications.
Designed, developed, and supported batch as well as online transaction processing systems.
Created and maintained JCL scripts for batch job execution, scheduling, and monitoring.
Worked extensively with IBM Db2 including embedded SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Developed and enhanced CICS online transaction programs for high-volume business operations.
Managed VSAM file processing, data handling, and storage management activities.
Troubleshot production issues, performed debugging, and provided timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Participated in system testing, deployment, and post-production application support activities.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Followed SDLC processes, coding standards, and documentation best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Gained exposure to IMS and Easytrieve for legacy system support and reporting activities.
