Job Description

Operate complex machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Meet the production fulfillment needs of internal and external customers.
Maintain high standards of company procedures and codes of conduct.
Uphold a manufacturing process that is safe, efficient, and sanitary.

Role & responsibilities
Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
Maintain high quality of machine-produced outputs.
Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
Setting up manufacturing equipment
Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
Follow production instructions, whether written or verbal
Set up and perform minor calibrations of machinery, as needed.
Operate machinery in a consistently safe manner.
Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
Perform inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production.
Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

Required Candidate profile

1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs.
Great time management
Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues.

Education
Diploma/Equivalent with Appropriate state certification.
