Linux L2/L3 administration skills
Linux installation, setup, runtime operational support, troubleshooting
Troubleshooting, Problem solving
Managing disks, File system
Package, Patch management (installation, remove, verify)
Log file verification
User, group management
Disk mirroring knowledge, Raid
Event Management (analyse alerts and logs)
Handle incident (Create, update and maintain Knowledge base articles)
Manage Service Delivery (execute direct orders, respond to standard requests)
Perform High Availability / Disaster Recovery setup including Active - Passive Cluster,
Fail - over, I/O fencing
Backup & Recovery (server backup & recovery)
Other miscellaneous activities (stop, start, managing alerts/logs, license management, hardening, third party s/w installation & configuration )
Provide Support to L1 & L2 team in creating RCAs & resolving issues & in completing daily assigned activities including the training.
