Lead Tester – Manual

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and prepare manual test cases based on product requirements and functional specifications
Execute test cases, identify defects, and log issues clearly in the defect tracking system
Ensure product quality by validating application functionality and verifying expected results
Perform ETL and database testing to validate data accuracy and integrity
Participate in code reviews, functional reviews, and architectural discussions when required
Collaborate with development and product teams to identify issues and improve product quality
Provide effort estimations for testing activities and contribute to release planning
Follow best practices for testing, quality assurance, and application security

Key Requirements:

7-8 years of experience in Manual Testing
Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies
Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management
Knowledge of ETL testing and database validation
Understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and modern technologies
Familiarity with application performance improvement and security practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-driven, proactive learner with strong problem-solving ability
