Job Description: Architect Discipline Project Lead

Reporting to: Discipline Manger Civil & Structural and Architectural / Section manager.

Competency Description Experience

• 15+ years of experience in industrial projects in the domain of:

- Advance manufacturing of Chemical, fine chemicals, specialty chemicals industrial projects
- New energy businesses like EV, PV, and associates industrial projects.
- Automotive industries, pharmaceutical plants, FMCG projects
- Data Centre projects hyper scale and retail scale.

• Excellent domain knowledge of Master planning, preparation of concept layouts, working drawings and good for construction drawings, Pre-Engineered Building works,
• Awareness of 3D platforms like Revit 3D, Sketch up, Lumion, Twin motion

Educational qualification

• B.Arch. Degree from recognized university, Registered with COA.

Core Strengths Technical

• Master plan and layout preparation at plot plan level
• Core competency in Architectural designs and should have ability and hands on experience to work on schematic/statutory/ working drawings and 2D /3D, Presentation, along with architectural BOQ & specifications.
• Shall have knowledge of statutory regulations, LEEDs certifications requirements, hygiene, and sustainability related design concepts/requirements.
• Global architectural practices / domain knowledge preferable to be able to check & review our global engineering partners drawings & documents.
• Strong knowledge of NBC and statutory codes, building byelaws, state wise requirements
• Preparation of BOQs, Tender Documents etc.
• Interdisciplinary coordination
• Preparation of Design basis and technical specifications for Architectural works and PEB building architectural works.
• Preparation of technical bid analysis and Resolutions of TQs and site RFI
• Hands on experience of Indian and International codes for the design.

Role / Job description

• Fa•ade & Fenestration, Interiors, Sanitation, and plumbing conceptualization to detail engineering including options for look and feel, walkthroughs, presentations etc.
• Conceptualization, preparation of various options meeting the Uptime Institutes Tier standard.
• Preparation of Design Basis Report & Room Book
• Planning / guiding a team of Revit modelers in developing BIM model meeting LOD 100 to 400 requirements during various phases of the projects.
• Reviewing the model / ensuring quality control on the model / guiding the modelers in extracting layouts from the 3D model like Architectural Plans, elevations, sections, plumbing drawings
• Preparation of site works tender including specifications and bill of material.
• Preparation of cost estimation for architectural part of the project
• Procurement assistance like providing technical clarifications, participating pre bid / post bid meeting / technical bid analysis / preparation or order specification.
• Vendor drawing review.
• Providing clarification to request for information from site during construction.
• Visiting sites for residual engineering / resolving site queries
• Coordination with various stake holders like Client / various internal disciplines like projects / electrical / mechanical / architect / civil / vendors for effective engineering management
• Providing information for & Attending Project review meeting / Internal review meetings / Management review meetings
• Takes initiatives for successful delivery of services within the department and operates with minimum guidance.
• Participates and Represents Jacobs in all Client facing and critical meetings to provide solutions to meet project objectives.
• Monitor and control Productivity of the Assigned project.
• Monitor and Control Project schedule of the Assigned Project
• Sharing the Knowledge with team Members
• Adherence to Department Work Instruction and QMs Manual
• Responsible for the performance of Team assigned.
• Ensure effective communications with all stakeholders.
• co-ordinations with internal and external team.

• Build appropriate relationships with relevant project stakeholders/ leads, working Team.
• Maintaining the lessons learned on the project.
• Effective use of past lessons learned to improve project delivery.

• Ensures people produce excellent work and continually improve their skills in order to grow the Company.
• Plans for project resources requirement well in advance and coordinate with Department Manager so as to ensure staffing requirements & productivity

Software CompetencyKnowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Working knowledge of Revit Architecture, Navis work Photoshop, 3D Max & or Google Sketch- up, Lumion, twin motion shall be preferred.Language Competency

• Good English written and verbal skills & ability to interact / coordinate.
