Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Rotary & Package Equipment Engineer to lead engineering activities for rotary and packaged equipment in industrial plant projects. The role includes equipment selection, design review, vendor management, multidisciplinary coordination, and team leadership across Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Project Execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities for rotary and package equipment including Pumps, Compressors, Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat Pumps, Nitrogen/Oxygen Plants, Gas & Fuel Systems, Dryers, Filters, Mixers, Blenders, Hoists, and EOT/Gantry Cranes.
Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, Material Requisitions (MRs), enquiry documents, layouts, PFDs, and CAPEX/OPEX evaluations.
Review technical bids, vendor offers, drawings, and engineering documents.
Coordinate with Process, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Project teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards including API, ASME, TEMA, ISO, IBR, CPCB, and EN.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
Manage engineering schedules, manhours, deliverables, and project execution.

Requirements

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
1418 years of experience in Rotary & Package Equipment Engineering.
Experience in Industrial Plants, Chemical/Specialty Chemical, FMCG, Battery Manufacturing, or Solar PV projects.
Strong expertise in equipment sizing, selection, specification development, and vendor engineering.
Proven experience in team leadership and multidisciplinary project coordination.
