Job Description

Conduct surveys on land sites and properties
To take distance measurement, angular measurement, data processing, digital display of point details, storing data , electronic field book.
Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy
Research and design methods for survey processes
Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes)
Build maps, sketches, and charts
Supervise and provide guidance to field staff
Purchase and maintain equipment
Report on survey results and present findings to clients
Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects
Preparing designs from technical specifications
Advising clients on planning applications and boundary disputes
Dealing with improvement or conservation grants
Working in an office, on-site, or at a client s property.
Search legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.
Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.
Survey bodies of water in order to determine navigable channels and to secure data for construction of breakwaters, piers, and other marine structures.

Qualifications Skills:

Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Geomatrics, Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of X years of experience under a licensed Professional Surveyor
Experience using surveying tools
Strong math skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency with CAD and GIS software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Experience 8 + yrs.
Salary 3-4 LPA
