Job Description
We are hiring an experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in OpenShift, MS SQL Server, Shell Scripting, and Unix/Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting critical enterprise/banking applications, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring applications, and ensuring high system availability.
Candidates with strong production support experience in banking or financial services environments will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for production applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve application/environment issues
- Work on OpenShift deployments and support activities
- Monitor application and server health
- Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Execute and optimize SQL queries in MS SQL Server
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation
- Coordinate with development, infra, and DBA teams
- Participate in release/deployment activities
- Ensure SLA adherence and timely incident resolution
- Support change management and production releases
