Job Title: L2 Network Engineer

Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience: 4 5 Years

Certification: CCNA/JNCIA & Any AI Certification (Mandatory), CCNP (Preferred)

Education: Bachelors Degree in IT or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and support of complex L2/L3 network infrastructure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network issues.
• Design and optimize network architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
• Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, SonicWall, Juniper), switches (Cisco, Juniper), and wireless solutions (Cisco/Arista).
• Maintain and update network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor network performance using tools like NetFlow Analyzer, WhatsUp Gold, and Wireshark; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for project delivery and escalations.
• Mentor L1 engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in audits, compliance checks, and security assessments.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Technical

• Knowledge of STP variants (RSTP, MSTP).
• Troubleshooting LACP negotiation issues.
• Configuration and management of firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Site-to-site and remote access VPNs (IPSec, SSL)., authentication mechanism
• False positive/negative management. (IDS/IPS)
• Standard and extended ACLs on routers/firewalls.
• Use of tools like NCM, Netflow, WhatsUp Gold, etc
• Packet capture and deep inspection analysis from tools like NetFlow, sFlow, Wireshark.
• End-to-End Connectivity Troubleshooting, Cloud Networking, VLAN Segmentation
• Knowledge & Hands on experience with Static & Dynamic Routing

• Setup of Servers like DHCP/DNS

Qualifications:
