Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Network Security Engineers (L2 & L3) to join our team supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls (mandatory), Fortinet/FortiGate security solutions, and F5 Load Balancers. The role involves implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network security solutions in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices (Routers & Switches).
• Administer and support Palo Alto Firewalls (Mandatory).
• Configure and maintain Fortinet/FortiGate Firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM).
• Monitor network and security infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement firewall policies, NAT, IPS, VPN, and security best practices.
• Analyze network security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and security teams during deployments and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and change management activities.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities and production support.

L2 Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and incident resolution.
• Perform firewall rule implementation and policy modifications.
• Handle configuration changes, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Escalate complex issues to the L3 team when required.

L3 Responsibilities

• Design and implement network security solutions.
• Lead critical incident management and major problem resolution.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Cisco Networking.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate Firewalls.
• Hands-on expertise in F5 Load Balancer (LTM/GTM).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPN, NAT, ACLs, IPS, and High Availability.
• Experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Good knowledge of enterprise network security best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, NSE, or F5 Certified are preferred.
